Angie recently completed a commission with Barnsley Council, celebrating the heritage of Worsborough Mill and its 400 year anniversary. Angie offered creative, ceramic workshops to visitors to the mill, engaging with the country park and the mills natural surroundings. The project highlighted Worsborough mills connection to environmental sustainability through its use of gravity and waterpower. Using clay to extract imprinted detail from the wooden beams, the stonework and the texture of the water wheel, capturing the history of the mill. The commission incorporating many of the mills main features, Angie brought them together in a whimsical composition, resembling a hidden 400 form. The largescale, functional, ceramic planter is on display at Worsborough mill and will be used to grow seasonal crop such as wheat.
